Following the successful first edition of the SWITCH:COLAB during WCEF2023 in Helsinki, UNIDO will organize the second edition of this consultative forum at the sidelines of WCEF2024 in Brussels.

SWITCH:COLAB will serve as a global networking and knowledge exchange platform, uniting stakeholders from UNIDO-led projects across Africa and Asia. Based on a participatory model and the world café methodology, the first part of the event will be an invitation-only closed group discussion. While the focal points of this year's SWITCH:COLAB are plastic and ICT & electronics value chains, the conversations will encompass vital cross-cutting themes like standardisation and policy.

For the second part of the event, between 14:30-16:30, the event extends its reach beyond this core group and invites additional participants to join an interactive panel discussion which will build on the world café sessions' discussions and lessons learned.
